Remember to look for the word "DZUS" on all the buttons, to insure that you're getting the genuine thing. |
Measuring a Dzus button is best done with a pair of calipers. An AO button is measured from under the head to the far side of the lock position for the spring. Measure an FO button from the outside of the head to the far side of the lock position for the spring. |
To measure a Dzus spring, check the center to center of the spring eyes. This is the rivet centers dimension. To measure the "grip" or height ("H"dimenions), lay the spring on a flat surface and use a 6" steel rule or other precision measuring device. |
Button hole is dimpled for FO style, flat for AO style, and flat with 5/8" hole for EHF6 self-ejecting style. *3" long also available at same price. |
